2008/2009 All Star Tryouts

Welcome. Thank you for your interest. WCA will hold all star team tryouts on Friday,5/16, Saturday, 5/17, and Sunday, 5/18, at the WCA Training Center located at 2818 69th Avenue W., University Place, WA 98466.

If you are interested, please download and complete the tryout paperwork below (22 pages) The paperwork will specify the time of your tryout. Tryouts are based on age. WCA tryouts are a 2-day event for ages 6 and older. You must participate in both days to be considered .For ages 3 to 5, tryouts will be a 1 day event.

• Any cheerleader 18 years or younger as of 5/31/08, may compete as an All Star Cheerleader for the entire
   2008/2009 competition season even if they turn 19 after 5/31/08.

• Cheerleaders tryout to be a member of Washington Cheer Academy, not one particular team or position. The
   coaches will place each individual cheerleader based on age, team needs and individual skills.

• No experience is necessary. Only good attitude, 100% dedication and a willingness to learn is required.

Tryout attire: FEMALES: Ponytail , sports bra , sneakers, shorts & T-shirt/sports top.
                      MALES: sneakers, shorts and T shirt

What to do

• Fill out the paperwork and bring it with you to tryouts. (Athlete/Parent Agreement, Tryout Registration Form and
   Permission for Medical Treatment/Release)

• Optional: Pre-register by calling WCA at 253-512-1922 or e-mail at wcacheer@comcast.net and provide your name
   and age as of 5/31/08 so a name tag will be waiting for you. ( If you are one of the first 50 to pre-register, you will
   receive a free WCA T shirt

• If new to WCA, bring a copy of your birth certificate with you to tryouts.

• Bring the tryout fee with you to tryouts
